Continuo es el segundo trabajo discográfico de SJT que fue presentado a fines del 2016 en La Habana (Cuba) y en el 2017 en Argentina. Comprende en su mayoría temas de la autoria de SJT que muestran la estética y sonido que caracterizan al trio: jazz de cámara europeo, be bop, rock, soul y blues en una síntesis que se aprecia en su sonido en conjunto. Además contiene inspiradas versiones de 4 temas de distintas vertientes de la música popular mostrando la versatilidad del grupo en lo instrumental y conceptual.

Although I'm not so much a fan of improvised music, it's exactly the improvisations that are fascinating me here. Which doesn't mean, of course, that the composed parts fall short of a comparable excellence. The overall impression is just perfect, and I like the unusual experience that Gentiane Michaud-Gagnon keeps on playing chords and melody lines I wouldn't have expected. In my opinion, jazz is at its best when it's unpredictable. Oh, and this is yet another gem from "amigale's" collection. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
